Variables are the building blocks of personalization in your video projects. They act as placeholders for the content you want to personalize. Instead of manually creating a new version of your video for each prospect, you can define certain elements as variables, which will be replaced later with specific values you provide.
By setting up these variables, you can quickly generate multiple copies of the video, each tailored to an individual user, without needing to record another video from scratch. The values for these variables can be updated automatically or manually, depending on your project setup.
We offer 3 variable types which can be used in multiple locations & ways:
Voice AI variables
This allows you to change the voice and lip-sync in specific parts of the video. This can be useful for tailoring spoken content for each client. These variables can also be reused as text variables for added flexibility.
(Currently only available for Studio AI & Studio enterprise users)
Text variables
These variables are used whenever you want to replace any text element in your project. These can be used in multiple places like landing pages, thumbnails and even subtitles.
Automatic backgrounds
This automatically changes what scrolls behind in the video; it could be a website, LinkedIn profile, video, or even an image & is useful if a website is referenced in a video.
You can change the spoken content in your videos by adding Voice AI variables. Simply click or select single or multiple words in your script to create these voice variables. This feature clones your voice to uniquely tailor the selected audio segment in your video, adding a distinctive personal touch to your content.

Each personalized video copy is hosted on a unique landing page. Use text variables in landing pages to personalized titles, headings, call-to-actions, social links and even redirection URLs. You can create highly engaging experiences for each viewer by addressing them by their name and including relevant details throughout the page.
With automatic background scrolling, you can display a unique background behind each personalized video copy. Use automatic backgrounds variable to quickly set this up. Eg: the viewer's website, LinkedIn profile, images etc. This helps create an instant connection by showing relevant backgrounds to each viewer.
Thumbnails serve as a quick preview of your video and can be personalized to enhance engagement. By adding text variables, you can customize the thumbnail message with dynamic content such as the viewer's name or other personalized details.
