🔗Linking your custom domain

This guide covers how to add your own custom domain to the Gan.AI platform.

Note: Please complete the verification process within 72 hrs of creation to prevent domain rejection. Verification can take up to 48 hrs to complete


1. Log in to your Gan.AI account & go to 'User settings' Go to 'Custom Domain' & click on 'Add new domain'

2. Enter your domain address in a 'eg: video.yourwebsite.com' format. 
Ex: ‘video.gan.ai’, & click on ‘Save’

3. You need to create two records in your DNS management system

4. For that, login into your DNS provider account & go to your 'Domain list'

5. Look for the domain that you added to the Gan.AI platform & click on 'Manage'

6. In 'Advanced DNS', click on ‘Add a record’ under 'Host Records' section to create your first record

7. Under 'Type', choose the record type as 'CNAME Record'

8. Copy 'Record Name 1' from Gan.AI platform & paste it under the 'Host' section

9. Copy 'Record Value 1' from Gan.AI platform & paste it under the ‘Value’ section & save the details

10. Add a new record & under 'Type', choose the record type as 'CNAME Record'

11. Copy 'Record Name 2' from Gan.AI platform & paste it under the 'Host' section

12. Copy 'Record Value 2' from Gan.AI platform & paste it under the ‘Value’ section & save the details

13. Click on 'Verify' on Gan.AI platform after 2-24 hrs of creating the above records. Note - If verification still shows pending, come back after a few hours and click on 'Verify' again.

14. Once the domain is verified, you can also set it as default for your videos

15. You can choose whether you want to set it as default only for your upcoming projects or for all the projects.
