Recording variables
Tips for recording variables. For visibility, a variable is shown as a word starting with @, for example @Michael.
Place the variable between regular words:
β @Michael. How are you? Did you knowβ¦
β Hi @Michael how are you did you knowβ¦
Avoid pauses or speaking too fast:
β Hi @Michael (pause). How are you?
β Hi @Michael how are you?
Use actual variables in the script:
β Hi @firstname! How are you?
β Hi @Michael how are you?
Record two videos with medium & long variables, not short ones.
Example of a short variable: LA
Example of a medium-length variable: Denver
Example of a long variable: Pennsylvania
β Hi Nick how are you? I hope @LA is treating you well
β Video 1: Hi Christopher how are you? I hope @California is treating you well
β Video 2: Hi Carolyn how are you? I hope @Denver is treating you well
Each sentence should have only one variable, space out your variables in the script. Variables can consist of 1-2 words.
β Hi Nick from Denver! I hope LA is treating you well
β Hi Nick Jonas, how is Priyanka Chopra doing?
β Hi Nick Jonas how are you? How is Priyanka doing? I hope California is treating you well
Use up to 3-4 variables in a video for best quality output. For more variables, contact your account manager.
Avoid excessive mimic, body and background movement when saying the variable.
