Recording a personalized project

This guide covers how to record your video before setting up a personalized project.

Create your personalized project

1. Log in to your Studio by Gan.AI account.

2. In the top menu, click on 'Record Personalized Project'.

1. Review the tips for your recording & setup before proceeding.

Add a script (optional)

Adding a script before recording helps establish clear context for your video, allowing you to record smoothly and without interruptions by referencing the script.

1. Click on the 'Add script' button

2. Enter your video script in the text box

3. Once added, click on 'Continue to record' to proceed.

Record/ Upload a video

If you choose to record a video, follow these steps:

1. Click on 'Continue to record' button

2. Select the type of recording: a. Camera: Records only your face

   b. Screen: Records only your screen

3. Choose your microphone and camera inputs

   Tip: Use high-quality equipment for better output

4. Once set up, click 'Start recording'

5. During recording, you can:

   a. Pause the recording

   b. Re-record your video

If you choose to upload a video instead of recording, follow these steps:

1. Click on 'Upload video' button

2. Select the video from your device & proceed.

Previewing your video

After the video is successfully processed and uploaded, preview it to check for background noise and confirm it meets your requirements. Once satisfied, click 'Continue to personalize' to proceed.

Please note that voice cloning is available only in English (US). If your video is recorded in a different language, we recommend re-recording it to proceed with the cloning process successfully.
