Setting up your video thumbnail
How to create an engaging video thumbnail to ensure maximum click-through rates for your video
Why is it important to set up your video thumbnails?
A compelling video thumbnail can increase your video's click-through rate by 2-3 times, so it's important to have an eye-catching visual. This thumbnail can be used when you're sharing your video on email, platforms like Linkedin, Twitter, Slack etc.
How to Create a Video Thumbnail
Click on to the "Thumbnail Settings" in the right-hand panel or Settings menu.
With Gan.AI, you have three options for your thumbnails:
1) Static Thumbnail
This will allow you to choose a thumbnail image from your video. Click on the edit icon right next to the static thumbnail.
Browse through the video and select the best shot that represents the content of your video. Hit Save.
2) Animated GIF Thumbnail
Instead of a static image, this shows a brief, silent video loop, giving users a better sense of the actual video content.
Click on the edit icon right next to the animated thumbnail and choose what part of the video will serve as its thumbnail.
3) Custom thumbnail
Upload your own static image (JPG, PNG) up to 25MB in size. Custom images allow you to create a purposely designed thumbnail.
