This guide covers how to integrate and trigger Gan.AI to programmatically send videos through Twilio

How to connect Gan.AI with your Twilio account?

  1. Log into your Gan.AI account

  2. Click on the 'Integrations' & select 'Twilio'

  3. Log in to your Twilio account

  4. Go to your account dashboard

  5. Under the ‘Account Info’ section, copy the value of ‘Account SID’ & paste the value in your Gan account

  6. Copy the value of ‘Auth token’ from your Twilio account & paste the value in the Gan platform

  7. Click on ‘Connect to Twilio’ to connect your Gan account to Twilio.

How to send video copies to Twilio from Gan.AI?

  1. Select the personalised project you want to integrate with Twilio

  2. Go to Project settings -> Integrations -> Twilio

  3. Turn on the integration button, next to ‘Export video copies to Twilio'

  4. Log in to your Twilio account

  5. Go to your account dashboard

  6. Under the ‘Account Info’ section, copy the ‘Twilio phone number’ through which you want to send your messages

  7. Paste the phone number in the Gan platform under ‘Twilio phone number*’

  8. Under ‘SMS delivery country’, search for the region where the Twilio phone number is enabled to send messages (*this is an optional step)

  9. In the Message input box, write the message you want to send through Twilio

  10. Use @ to add variables to your message. You can add following variables to your message:

    1. Voice Variables

    2. Text Variables

    3. Project URLs (different links associated with a video copy for example permalink, thumbnail_url, video_url etc.)

  11. We recommend adding these values:

    1. perma_link

    2. video_url

    3. smart_url

    4. thumbnail_url

  12. Once the messages are added, click on ‘Save & close’ to save your settings

Note: You can also enable message scheduling through Twilio messaging service. This is an optional service.
