This guide covers how to integrate Zapier with Gan.AI to create personalized videos by using CRMs/ marketing softwares to trigger videos, & then delivering videos through preferred delivery channels

In this tutorial, we have used Salesforce as an example. The users can connect Zapier directly to their CRM or marketing software of their choice.

How to import data from your CRM/ any other data source through Zapier to create video copies in Gan.AI?

1. Log into your Gan.AI account, select the required personalised project

2. Go to Project settings -> Integrations -> Zapier and turn on the integration

3. Log into your Zapier.com account.

4. Click on 'Create Zap'. Name your Zap based on the automation you are looking to create

5. Click on 'Trigger'

   • Search for your CRM (eg: Salesforce, Instantly) / data source where you want to import your variable data from

   • Choose the event which would trigger the Zap (*if required)

   • Allow Zapier to access data from your CRM/ data source account

   • Connect your CRM/ data source account to Zapier

   • Under 'Event', choose your event based on the trigger you want to create and provide relevant details

   • Click on 'Test trigger' and select a test record

   • After that, click on ‘Continue with selected record’ and your trigger is all set

6. Select an 'Action'

   • Under action, search for 'Gan.AI (latest)' and select the app

   • Under 'Event', select 'Generate Video'

   • Click on 'Continue' and connect your Gan.AI account to Zapier by signing in

   • Copy the API key from the Gan.AI platform under Project Settings->Integrations->Zapier

   • Paste the API key in Zapier and click on 'Continue'

   • Choose the relevant Gan.AI project from the dropdown that you want to generate videos for

   • For each project variable that appears below, select relevant input variables from your CRM / data source to complete the mapping

   • Complete the mapping of the required fields before continuing to test

   • Click on 'Continue' and 'Test Step'

   • Click on 'Publish' and your Zap is all set

How to send video copies to Zapier from Gan.AI?

1. Turn on the integration button, next to ‘Export data to Zapier’, in your project settings

2. Log into your Zapier account

3. Click on 'Create Zap'

4. Name your Zap based on the automation you are looking to create

5. Click on 'Trigger'

   • Select 'Webhooks by Zapier' as the trigger (*this is a premium feature)

   • Under 'Event', select 'Catch Hook' and click on 'Continue' twice

   • You will see a webhook URL appear

   • Copy the custom webhook URL that Zapier has generated

6. Paste the webhook URL from Zapier to Gan.AI in the Webhook URL box below and click on 'Verify'

7. Once verification is successful in Gan.AI platform, go back to the Zapier workflow and click on 'Test Trigger'

8. You will see records appear in Zapier. Select any record and click on 'Continue with selected record'

9. Select an 'Action'

   • Under Action, select your CRM (eg: Salesforce, Instantly)/ data source/ delivery channel where you want to send videos to

   • Select the event which occurs when the Zap runs: updating the lead/contact with Gan.AI video properties, and click on continue

   • Connect your CRM/ data source account to Zapier

   • Choose the sample lead you want to update (this is required)

   • We recommend mapping the four properties : 1. perma_link 2. video_url 3. smart_url 4. thumbnail_url
 to the relevant variable in your delivery channel. You can either map them to an existing variable or the custom variables that you've created in your CRM

   • Click on 'Continue' and 'Test Step'

   • Click on 'Publish' and your Zap is all set

   • After that, click on ‘Save & close’ on the Gan.AI platform to save the settings
