Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Choose your recording mode
Log in to Studio by Gan.AI, go to the AI Personalized Videos section → click Create New Video.
Choose whether you’ll record live (webcam/screen) or upload a pre-recorded video.
Step 2: Set up your frame & lighting
Don’t zoom in too much; mid-frame or full-body works best.
Ensure lighting is even (front-lit), background is simple and non-distracting.
Check that your lips are clearly visible and free of obstruction (hair, jewellery).
Step 3: Speak naturally and clearly
Record in a neutral tone — avoid over-emphasising variable words (e.g., first-name, company name) so the AI can generalise better.
Maintain a consistent pace, avoid large facial expressions or exaggerated movements, which may confuse lip-sync.
Don’t move your head, body, or hands
Avoid abrupt or active movements with your head, hands, and face while speaking the sentences with variables.
Step 4: Record or upload your base video
If recording live: click Record, and proceed with your script.
Avoid background noise, such as AC, fans, traffic, etc.
Record in a quiet place with no distractions, so that the voice cloning model turns out perfect!
If uploading: ensure the file is high-quality (HD preferred) and meets the platform’s technical requirements.
