What are variables?

Variables are essential components for adding personalization to your video projects. They serve as placeholders for the dynamic information you want to customize—such as names, company details, or other unique data points.

Instead of creating separate video versions for each prospect, you can define specific elements as variables. These variables are automatically replaced with the personalized values you provide during the rendering process.

By setting up variables, you can efficiently produce multiple versions of the same video—each tailored to individual viewers—without recording or editing new footage every time. Depending on your project setup, these variable values can be updated either manually or through automated data integration.

Different Types of Variables

  • Voice AI Variables — These allow you to change spoken content (voice clone & lip-sync) in the video itself.

  • Text Variables — These are placeholders for text elements across the project: script lines, landing page headings, thumbnails, subtitles.

  1. Voice AI & lipsync:

  • You can customize the spoken content in your videos by adding Voice AI variables. These variables allow you to modify specific parts of your script using your cloned voice, giving each video a unique and personal touch. To create a voice variable, simply click or select one or more words in your script. The selected words will be marked as variables that can be dynamically replaced during video generation. Please note that videos containing voice personalization may take up to one week to process, as they require additional voice synthesis and review time.

  1. Video landing pages:

  • Each personalized video copy is hosted on a unique landing page. Use text variables in landing pages to personalize titles, headings, call-to-actions, social links, and even redirection URLs. You can create highly engaging experiences for each viewer by addressing them by their name and including relevant details throughout the page.

  1. Personalized Thumbnails:

  • Thumbnails provide a quick snapshot of your video and play a key role in capturing viewer attention. You can personalize them to boost engagement by adding text variables—allowing you to dynamically include details such as the viewer’s name or other customized information. Additionally, you can choose between static or animated thumbnails, or upload your own custom thumbnail to best represent your video.

    You can personalize subtitles in your video by using text variables. This allows each version of the video to display unique details—such as the viewer’s name, company, or location—directly within the subtitle text. Personalized subtitles make your content feel more relevant and engaging for each viewer. For example, instead of a generic greeting, the subtitle could read: “Welcome, John from TechCorp!

As of now, we only support LinkedIn profiles and Facebook profiles as automatic background only.
